A defining feature of the restaurant is its living herb wall, inspired by Archduke Joseph Palatine, one of Hungary’s most influential historical figures and the husband of Archduchess Maria Dorothea, the hotel’s namesake.
Renowned for his passion for botany and his contribution to the development of Budapest’s gardens and green spaces, Joseph Palatine left a lasting mark on the city’s cultural landscape.
